The KC2 shreds the same types of materials as the KC1, including food waste, plastic, paper, PPE, and light metals such as tin cans, paint tins, and spray paint cans.

However, like the KC1, it is not suitable for heavy metals such as high-tensile steel, bolts, or other exceptionally hard materials.
